Co-Adsorption in a MOF for Post-Combustion Capture
Realistic Performance of Carbon Capture Sorbents
Carbon capture has one unavoidable complication: humidity. While many sorbents show promising CO₂ uptake under dry conditions, performance can change significantly once water vapor is present.
This case study examines the behavior of a next-generation metal-organic framework (MOF) under humid, mixed-gas conditions relevant to post-combustion capture. By combining Dynamic Vapor Sorption (DVS) with Breakthrough Analysis, the study provides a rigorous, application-focused evaluation of CO₂ capture in the presence of water.
